Jingle Competition for Mumbai Metro Line-3
Rules and regulations of the Jingle contest:
- The contest is open only to residents of India.
- ONLY one (1) entry per person is allowed.
- The jingle can be English, Marathi or in Hindi language.
- The entry must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and must not infringe on the intellectual rights of any third party. MMRC do not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
- The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
- The winning entries would be the intellectual property of the MMRC, and the winners shall not exercise any right over it.
- The winning entries may be used by MMRC for promotional and display purposes, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials and for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
- The name/title/caption of the jingle should be original and must not infringe on the Intellectual Property Rights of any third party.
- MMRC reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or rules and regulations / Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the rules and regulations / Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or the cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MMRC platform (official website, social media handles, etc). It would be the responsibility of the participant to keep himself/herself informed of any changes in the Rules and Regulations / Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this Contest.
- The participant should make sure that his/her contact details are accurate and updated since this will be used for further communication. This includes details such as name, email ID, and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
- All the entries received by MMRC would be assessed by a committee of judges for selecting the entries/jingles. The decision of the Committee shall be final and binding.
- Entries would be judged based on elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit and impact and how well they communicate the elements that need to be reflected.
- Entrants may be required to perform the song if needed.
- The Judges’ decision is final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest.
- Jingles should contain voice, lyrics and musical accompaniment.
- Jingles submitted should be of 30 (thirty) seconds in length.
- The jingle should be submitted via MMRC official website through entry form as an audio track in Mp3 format.
- The winning jingle will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 15,000/-.
- The deadline for submission of completed entry forms and accompanying jingles is 4:00 p.m. on August 31st, 2023.

- Click on “Contest” tab and go to “Jingle Contest” subtab on the website.
- Read the rules and regulations.
- Fill out the form and submit your audio track.
